Teenage years involves a lot of changes – physically, emotionally and socially – and some teens may have a hard time adjusting. What kind of friends should they hang out with, what self image they should project, whether they should engage in teenage sex and drugs are just a few of these situations. The key is not in interfering in choices but in helping them make the right choices and this can be done by letting them join spiritual or religious centered activities. One way for them to have fun is by youth ministry skits. Teenagers love to role-play. This gives them a glimpse of who they might be, had they chosen this path before. Built on Love is another skit that will test teens? ingenuity. There are two home builders that are required to work hard in this skit, and they better be wise in choosing their building materials in order to win.

Pajama Jones is a fun activity that involves storytelling. This is told in the dark, and involves a good storyteller, some materials to make loud thunder noises and flashlights. Pajama Jones has plenty of lessons about God’s love as well.

Aside from skits, dramas and stories, teenagers can also have silly fun. They may have games, relays, treasures hunts and the like. Think of children’s games with teenagers playing. Your teenager will certainly not feel shy in joining these games since they are all surrounded by peers and people their age. Fun team games will teach them the value of camaraderie and friendly team competition.
