Whenever you see someone pulling off some fun little magic tricks at a party or a get together, don’t you sometimes wish that could be you doing the performing? Well, now you can; and it is as easy as pie just to get started when you have a computer and can browse the Internet for some of these fun and easy magic tricks.

When you think of magic, what is the first thing that comes to mind—besides a magician, a hat, and a rabbit—–yep, a deck of playing cards. These few examples that follow are all done with just a deck of cards, nothing more, and can be learned easily. These are all found on the Internet under easy magic tricks. First, there is one called Dealing a Royal Flush—-and this one will test your powers of communication, because there is more talk involved than skill. Then we have the Color Card Prediction which is simply a spectator choosing a card—puts it back in deck—-and voila, it is the only different colored card in the deck. A couple of others that are fun are the Rising Card—-a spectator chooses a card, inserts it back in deck, and you make it magically rise from the pack: and finally, Cutting the Aces, which will take a little practice, but is fun and worth it.

Okay, now what. Oh yeah—easy magic tricks with money——that’s always good for a crowd pleaser. Take for example, coins—-you remember seeing a magician pull a coin from behind someone’s ear in a crowd, or how about this trick called the Vanishing Coin———-start with 4 coins in your hand, close your hand, open it, and lo and behold! There are 3 coins now in your hand. Move on to paper money—lots of fun little tricks here: take for example the bill roll—–pick up 2 dollar bills of different denominations and roll them together in a tight roll——then unroll them—-Yikes—the bill that was on the bottom is now on the top. Cool stuff—-and you could be doing this yourself with a little practice.

Remember all the hoopla that surrounds Harry Potter and his gang at Hogwarts? Well, you can treat your kids or they can perform for their friends, some of these fun easy magic tricks based on Harry Potter—–just have the performer dressed in a long robe with large round glasses, and the mood is set for some great fun. Try this one call the Levitating Ring—-someone’s finger ring can be made to slowly rise up a pencil, or a magic wand—-great stuff for kids; and then move right on into one called The Magnetic Hand. A hand of playing cards is fanned out and then appear to be lifted into the air as if they were glued to your hand by a magnet—–is that the best, or what. The kids will love it.

You will find that when you start browsing the Internet for easy magic tricks, you will find tons of them that will be easy to learn, use a minimum of props, and knock the crowd over if you learn them well. This next one is a neat trick to pull at a party or a gathering of fun loving people. You walk out of the room while someone in the room picks out an object, leaves it in place but tells everyone which object it is that he/she is targeting, and then you walk in and immediately pick out the chosen object—-yowsah, how did you know that? The trick is called Dark Magic, and some people think it is just that—-or that you are from another planet and have special cognitive powers. Fun!

And what better place to try a little of your newly learned skills with easy magic tricks, than at the dinner table; and you can begin your routine with this one. The Butter Knife Through the Napkin trick that will leave them all with their mouths hanging open; and follow that with the Vanishing Toothpick, where you make a toothpick literally vanish into your hands. What a trick. Then there is always this old standby, where you take a spoon, make it look like you are bending it dramatically, and then you put it down showing all at the table that it is still perfectly straight. You will have people begging you to let on how you did it.

Magic can provide hours of fun in all kinds of social situations, and can be the catalyst for you to bring out that little bit of performer that is hiding there inside you. Everyone loves a good magic trick done well, and with these easy magic tricks found on the Internet, a little practice, and a lot of schmooze—-you can be a star.
