As a “farmer at heart” I’m a believer in organic food. It dovetails nicely with my dislike of big drug companies as well.  Frankly, between the pharmaceutical companies and the big so called food producers, they’re shoving far too many drugs into us.  I for one would like it to stop, which is why I’m growing more of my own food, why I’m a rabid supporter of urban local agriculture and why I’m thrilled with a new concept I stumbled across recently called Organic Acres.

Organic acres is actually an MLM concept, but don’t let that scare you away- particularly not if you’d like to be able to control your own personal supply of organic farm produce that will be better and hopefully even cheaper than what you can buy from a local grocery store.  Even better, you will, in essense be the farmer.  My Organic Acres is a concept that is in pre-launch right now and while I would urge you to register, it won’t cost you a penny until after they launch and by that time you will have had lots of time to look at what they have to say and decide for yourself if it’s what you are interested in.

I’m Canadian and right now the only food distribution will be in the US ( I’m assuming that I’m not going to be able to ship my own lettuce across the border and so I’ll be donating most of my crop to a local food bank or shelter, just so that I can be in on this from the beginning.
