New Products for Kids

There are many different interesting and neat products for kids under 12. Of course, popular products are always changing—kids are quite fickle, after all, and what they love one day they may hate the next. However, there are some products that are almost always interesting and entertaining.

One of these is the Nintendo DS. This handheld video game system is one of the most innovative gaming systems out there. It features a touch screen, a microphone, and more. One of the most interesting aspects of this product is that there are a number of educational games available. You will find “games” that focus on teaching math, vocabulary, cooking techniques, and even foreign languages. Many adults enjoy the DS just for this reason.

Another interesting product for children is the Alex Super Art Table. This product actually won the 2008 Dr. Toy’s 100 Best Children’s Products and was awarded an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Seal. It’s perfect for any budding artist and features two benches, a child-safe paper cutter, three paint cups and cup holders, and a storage bag. The table cleans up very easily, too, which is a plus for parents.

Don’t want to deal with paint? Check out the Crayola Color Explosion Glow Board. This board acts just like a piece of paper, only it’s all electronic. Kids can draw on it using six different neon colored markers. When they’re done drawing, they just wipe the board clean and can start all over again. The markers won’t ever run dry, you’ll never run out of paper, and there’s no mess. Just swap out the AAA batteries every now and then.

The final interesting kids’ product is the magnetic building set. There are a number of different companies that make these, including Mags and Magnetix. These toys are like the Lincoln Logs of old except they’re magnetic. Kids will spend hours building different structures with them.

As you can see, all of these interesting products combine entertainment with education and the arts. These types of toys please both kids and parents, making them some of the best and most interesting toys out there.
